Access International has provided Asian sourcing and arranged contract manufacturing since early in 1991.
What types of products do you source?
We source all manner of consumer products for American companies, but specialize in consumer electronics and wire & cable of all types. Access International’s sourcing system lends itself well to all types of consumer goods requiring Asian manufacture.
Do you source for anyone who requests your services?
We provide services exclusively to well established American companies, not individuals, start-ups, or inventors.

Can't we secure our own contract manufacturing?
Perhaps, but China sourcing presents serious risks for the uninitiated. In addition to language and cultural issues, you must be prepared to manage pricing and program negotiations, independent goods inspection, freight forwarder and broker selection, ISF 10+2 filings, U.S. Customs classifications and intensive exams, and many other technicalities. As agents specializing in China sourcing and importing, we field these issues for your company, saving you valuable time and money.
How does Access International protect our intellectual property?
Selecting the right vendor is critical in preventing theft of your designs
and trademarks. Using Access International for Asian sourcing assures
that the vendor of choice follows our business ethics. We have
a series of checks and balances in place to minimize the likelihood of
problems and, further, we scrutinize potential vendors very carefully
prior to selection.
We do not release any more information than is necessary during the vendor
qualification process, never releasing information to any vendor without
your expressed written permission. While not a panacea, we do
secure non-disclosure agreements with vendors, partly as a tool to let
them know that we are serious about the security of your valued information. Of
course, we also sign an NDA with you prior to our internal discussions.
How do we know we're getting the best price?
You don't. Low price is only one third of the equation. You
also need high product quality and consistent on-time delivery. Frankly,
the last two are as important as the first and far more difficult to
achieve.
If your China factory is not profiting, problems may occur including
price increases, changes in parts, and late deliveries. Access
International will ensure that all three Asian sourcing goals are achieved:
a high quality product, timely delivery and a purchase price assuring
equitable returns for you and your new Asian manufacturing partner.
How can we be assured of a high quality product?
Access qualifies China manufacturers using a wide variety of high standards. Our proprietary qualification process has been developed over almost 20 years. The result is a high quality vendor, chosen particularly to suit you and your needs. We implement a very controlled pre-production system prior to the initial manufacturing stage. All pilot runs are overseen on site by Access management and, if contracted by the customer, independent inspection services may be arranged. Our project launch process follows a successful form, yet is custom designed for your needs by you and Access.
